Well it is a new year, and time to restock all of your moving supplies. If you bought from me last year, I bet is time to replace your moving blankets, furniture covers, and quilted appliance covers. They don’t wear out as much as you just lose them. I’m sure the delivery guys leave them at your customer’s place. The same thing applies to H-Dollies and furniture dollies, your delivery guys just leave them behind. After all, they are human, they get in a hurry, and forget things.

Most places sell these in packs of 12, we have them in packs of 6. We have 4 different styles at 4 different prices. I will start with the lowest price up to the highest price.

The first moving blanket is the Pro Series, “Pro Deluxe”. Being as it is the lowest price, it is also the thinest of the “moving blankets”. After the “Pro Deluxe”, we have the Pro Series,  “Pro Value”. These are a tad thicker and are sewn a tad better. Next is the Pro Series, “Pro Mover”. Again; these are thicker, and sewn better. This week I’m going to keep it short and sweet. I’m going to talk about the actual moving part of moving supplies. Last week we talked about when someone else moves you. This week, you are doing the moving.

1. Get a bigger truck than you think you need.
2. Get more help than you think you need.
3. Get the right tools for the job.

Getting a bigger truck is a great idea because you have more than you think. Getting more help than you need is important because some people will not show up. The right tools would be a hand truck or two, a furniture dolly, and maybe some forearm forklift straps, for those bulky items.

So, you now have your truck, your help, and your furniture moving equipment, time to rock and roll. Put your large items in first. Fill in all the spaces with boxes or other small items. If you find your truck really is to big, then start to lower each row. Break down your load.

I guess this wasn’t all that short. Oh Well!
